Wardenby Property Ltd ("we") is the data controller for the personal information you give us through this website, by phone, by email or at our office at 31 Cowdray Street, Halbourne HB1 4QN.
What we collect
Your name, contact details and what you tell us about the home you want to buy, sell, let or rent. For tenants and buyers who proceed, we also collect the identity, right-to-rent and anti-money-laundering documents the law requires us to check.
Why we use it
- To answer your enquiry and arrange valuations and viewings (legitimate interest).
- To carry out a sale or tenancy you have asked us to handle (contract).
- To meet our legal duties on money laundering, right to rent and deposit protection (legal obligation).
- To email you new listings, only if you register for them (consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
Who we share it with
Only those who need it to complete your sale or tenancy: solicitors, referencing agencies, deposit schemes and, on managed homes, contractors who need to arrange access. We never sell your details.
How long we keep it
Enquiries for two years; sale and tenancy records for six years after completion or the end of the tenancy, as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold, or object to how we use it. Write to [email protected]. If you are unhappy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
